Testrun

Just a couple of vids of the first testrun, together with Greenturbine at the Engineering department of the University of Applied Science in Rotterdam.

The first test was taken with different nozzles.

 

The nozzles didn't work too well. We will need a nozzle project.

Zefiros Tesla Turbine 1.0 released

On the 11^th of July 2013 the first prototype of the Zefiros Tesla Turbine was released. Designed and build by four students of the Rotterdam University of Applied Science, the Zefiros Tesla Turbine provides a platform for experimenting with power production from low-level steam.

The creators of the first Zefiros Tesla Turbine are: Arjon Bakker, Fabian Gouwens, Ricky van Kampen and Koen Wessels. The blueprints are available as Open Design.

In February 2014 a group of Engineering students from the Rotterdam University of Applied Science will get assignment to improve the first design and again release it as an Open Design project.
